I've got the Mighty Fine crew mods installed and some ofthem had changed like I expected them to. Now I had just saved after sinking a freighter up north and I waited till the ship was out of sight before I saved and all. When I went back to the game yesterday, at least two of the crew had changed. The Chief who had a plaid shirt and a beard had changed back to the chief with the waistcoat. The Navigator now has no glasses and looks completly differant, bearded with a hat.
The #1 still has no eyepatch so that is OK. What Happend??
I suppose I'll try a gutting but this is weird. My Crew is mutating!!! I can't go to my bunk with my crew mutating!!! :o

I have the same problem with my crew chief, when I first load the game he is the stock version chief. When I leave area and come back its the mightfine crew alternate face guy. I think it is just memory issues. I haven't seen the other guy do it yet.

I've got that happening too. They change clothes. Sometimes my LI is only wearing a shirt, sometimes he puts on a jacket. But the face stays the same. Hey, let them change clothes? How you YOU like wearing the same Klamotten every day? :DL

Now they are back. What's also weird is I never picked the "bearded" crew yet most of them have beards. This is not a problem as I know that most submariners had beards from time to time. When I first loaded up "Mighty Fine", I just picked the Basemod w' normal faces, yet most all of the faces changed anyway, from the Watch Comm on down to the Navigator. I liked the origanal navigator myself, the rest changed for the better. Really, I don't have a problem as long as my #1 doesn't revert back to the eyepatch guy, same with the chief, I don't want the dude with the waistcoat. I like the crew pretty much as the mod intended so, I think I will pull the whole file and reload JSGME plus create a new MOD file. This has to be done from time to time as I have heard there can be hidden files that muck up the works.
Anyway, all is better, hopefully it'll stay that way.

:O: Yeah, the Kitchen smells bad enough with out the crewmen not changing their clothes once in a while. I tell the Bosun to come up and see me 'cause I don't want to walk through the crews Quarters near the end of the patrol. WHEW!
You can see the fumes, it's no wonder they can't taste the cooks "fish stew".
Aghhhhh:dead:

I don't know if you guys are having problems with ghost crew. It usually happens on the conning tower and shows up when you move to look somewhere else. A crew member appears and disappears in seconds.
I had the d3d_antilag101 in my main folder, I adjusted the RenderAheadLimit to many different settings to resolve the problem. The solution I found was just remove d3d_antilag101 files. After that no more ghost, I honestly don't see frame rates difference with it in or not, so its better without it in. No more ghost.
I would try to remove the d3d_antilag101 and see if it fixes the crew problem, it wouldn't hurt to try.

Well I don't call it that but yes. I chalk it up to my graphics card. My ASUS laptop is good but it's still not a tower and I figured I'm not going to be "flicker free". I have crew members that appear for a frame at times behind the boat in midair. Every once and a while anything animated can have little quirks like this. Fortunately they are infrequent and don't really bother me. The one that's the big problem is the Vessels. If I'm using external camera, all the ships except mine have this flickering effect all over the sides of the boats or mainly on the cargo hold hatches (those big square ones), those hatches have got this flickering triangular distortion (only way I know how to describe it). So I would try anything. You think the antilag would help the crew flickering? I would love it if I could get the ships to look normal in external camera.
(I have tried the vertical sync on and off, it doesn't seem to help), but even with that, the basic graphics still look and work great. I am going to try some mod, modding:O: at the end of this patrol to see if it's a mod problem with one of the files.
Good Hunting Herr Kaleun! :salute:
