... assign an .ogg file (in game, not just a keyboard macro) to the keystrokes for fully raising and lowering the periscopes?

I want to record my own voice, convert the files to .ogg format, and have the audio files play when I fully raise or lower the scopes.

[fingers crossed] :salute:

Off the top of my head either replace or adapt the existing sounds for periscope
Though not sure if one for up and one for down - maybe just the one

I'd like to keep the existing sound of the scope in motion, which plays anytime the scope is moved, even if it is just bumped up or down.

I'd like to insert a new command such as, "Raising sky scope... ... up scope" or whatever was historically correct. Also, it would be specific to which scope is being raised or lowered.

As a former bubblehead, on almost an unconscious level, I notice when that important of a command is missing. Its an "immersion" thing for me.

I was wondering how to do something similar... how to integrate the unused speech files which are already there.

I'm guessing the answer lies in the assorted "Phrases_Voice_#.dat" files in the library folder.

Would seem better to have this in the modding section...
