Isnt the original C&C freeware these days? :hmmm:

I seem to remember EA putting it out to celebrate the series few years back.

Yup, so is Red Alert, Tiberian Sun and all related expansions. Probably the only good thing EA ever did...

This ran fine in Chrome but ran slow in FF - terrible mouse lag.

What do you want? It's browser based.

@ Dowly, really? I didn't realise they'd released so many of those on freeware. Good stuff. Can remember playing those when I was a kid and loving them.

Well Krauter, why offering a car with square tyres? If its not running allright, why building it, you know what im talking about? I was like "yeah, C&C!" and then after 5 seconds, I was a little dissapointed

... It's in a browser what do you expect? Don't shoot the messenger I'm just saying if you want to play C&C for free and don't have it handy, it's right there. Nothing more nothing less.

I never advertised a perfectly running C&C so chill out

I never said you did?! I neither attacked you or the creator, I just said that it is unplayable, what is the problem with that? Do I have to be sorry for a simple opinion now? :06:

No Nippel - you asked him why he offered something "unplayable" - aka the car with square tires comment. That could easily be taken as ripping him when he was simply trying to share.

I'd take it more as Nippel "ripping" the people who made it. Nippel's reply was kind of a bad translation, but I believe he's not a native English speaker. He wasn't attacking Krauter at all though.

True, sorry, it was not my intention to offend anyone.
