Some have propably heard that Finland have been blessed with representative named Teuvo Hakkarainen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teuvo_Hakkarainen). Mr. Hakkarainen has earned fame with his constant blunders which - ofcourse - our tabloids (and media in general) love to report. Latest blunder goes as follows:

1. Our good representative leaves work heading to restaurant. He has his work briefcase with him. :nope:

2. Our good representative spends time in bars - drinking naturally. At about 4 am when bars and restaurants close their doors our good representative heads to afterparty with "previously unknown people". :yeah:

3. Our good representative arrives to afterparty. Location? Bandidos MC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandidos_Motorcycle_Club) clubhouse. :woot:

4. Allegedly paid sex is offered to our good representative. He refuses but as good man he gives a lady €100 anyway. Somehow our good representative has troubles in remembering little details... :hmmm:

5. Our good representative leaves afterparty at 6 am. Briefcase continues partying with Bandidos MC. :06:

6. Unknown time later our good representative remembers his briefcase and returns to pick it up. Its almost 7 am so its time to go work to Parliament.

When media asks he admits that he was "a bit too much drunk" although he can't say whether or not he was still drunk when he went to work. :88)

Anybody else has this kind of "representative" in their national parliament/congress?

What's amazing to me is that politicians like that get re-elected. I just can't follow the line of thinking that would have someone go "Well, he shows up to work drunk, parties with motorcycle clubs, makes racial slurs in public....ah heck, he seems like he'll do a good job." and then votes for him.

I'm still theorizing that Hakkarainen is a real life equivalent of a forum troll, planted by the other parties to cause problems whenever they want the media's attention away from the real matters. Alternatively it's the greatest student prank all the time. Or both.

I get the point, but Hakkarainen is a first time representative, and personally I'm not betting on him getting re-elected. Might even be that he won't run again. At least at some point he was already ragequitting himself, but I think he got over that.

Maybe... although I have yet to hear of them in our media. We just have the usual ultra-religious weirdos to admire right now. :hmmm:

I'd like to hear of our Veep smuggling women and half-racks of Red Stripe into the White House during peak hours. Not that I think he's a party hound; it would just be entertaining if he tried throwing a frat party and got busted by the President. :DL

Must be a global pandemic, 'cuz it seems to happen all over the place.
