Kaleuns,
Two Questions:
1. I SH4 when you placed marks on the Nav-Map, they would not be cleared until the end of the patrol. Hence, if you save you're game for the night and boot up the next day, all your markings are still there. Can I do this with SH5?? I've looked all over but can't find the on button here.
My second question I've hit on before but I will put it another way.
2. Do I really need a mod installed to get upgrades for the boat such as conning tower, radar or even boat upgrades? Do we get upgraded eventually to a B or C class boat? Or is the upgrade engine in the game hopelessly broken?
I know which Mod to install, I just want to know if it's mandatory. If the game will eventually give me the upgrades then I don't need the mod.
Whassup??
Thanks/Danke

Yeah I also wondered about that, too, about your first question? Sometimes I have to leave in the middle an attack, I save game and come back later to resume and my marks are gone.

Unfortunately the marks do not stay if you turn the game off and reload. What I do if I'm tracking a target is write down the range, bearing and course of the target on a piece of paper and then plot it again when I load the game up.

I thought the NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0 journal was suppose to save the marks, like the ship sunks marks.
There might be a setting somewhere, maybe in the TheDarkWraithUserOptions.py

You have to create a journal first. Then it will save the supermarks, navfixes, and destroyed marks to the journal when you exit the game.

Hey DW
I've got the journal. It's installed (you helped me quite a bit getting the thing going). It does save the Destroyed marks, and all my super marks are there, but it doesn't save the nav marks (Compass, ruler, Pencil, Angle thingy [yeah I'm a Kaleun] ) none of those nav fix marks get saved. Is there a button I missed?? I looked all over the UI settings for anything I could think of related to the Nav-Map and I couldn't find a on/off for Nav Tool marks. Any Ideas??

Those will never be saved as the game doesn't expose them. Since I make the supermarks, navfixes, and destroyed marks I can do what I want with them.
