i was a pc gamer in the 90's and then switched over to consoles until 2011. I got bored of the consoles and bought a new Dell PC this year and immediately went back to PC Simulations, some RPG's and some MMO's.

What the hell was i thinking spending my time and money on consoles($59.99 to $69.99 per game) and ignoring the PC. Silent Hunter 5 is amazing(with mods) and many other PC only exclusive games and simulations.:yeah:

They buy a normal T-shirt and then tantalizingly titillate it to tremendous tributes. :03:

Which is why I find it so very, very amusing when, every single ruddy year some "gaming industry guru" (or quite a few of them, most of the time), declares PC Gaming Dead and Gone Never to be Heard of Again™. :haha:

That being said, I do enjoy the consoles I have, but nowhere near half as much as my PC rig.

Welcome aboard and glad you could join us, Herr Kaleun! :salute:

PC gaming will always be around. It isn't going anywhere. I remember playing Oregon Trail and other stuff on an old Commodore 64 back in the 80's...when companies like EA had to earn their paycheck.

Well the big difference is when you buy a console, you're buying something that's relevant for 5-7 years. You buy a PC and in 2 years it will be outdated and will not be able to run new games on max settings.

There's a tradeoff. Consoles cost much less, last much longer, but the games are much more expensive. PCs cost a lot more, dont last nearly as long, but the games are cheap as hell and there is a ton of them.
