The chances of the Subsim Motley Crew of Regulars ignoring a thread titled "Please Ignore" are approximately equivalent to those of successfully navigating your way through an asteroid field with fighter craft flying up your butt and the whole Imperial Navy after you.
In other words, not good. :O:
Oh wait I bet you didn't want me to tell you the odds. :D

Ignore? Ignore? I don't think so young man (or woman, or hermaphrodite). :stare:
Welcome to Subsim :salute: where this thread will run to at least two pages, possibly four within as many days. If you keep coming back you will eventually be immersed in our silly world, with games, pictures, jokes, stories and one day - one day - if you are brave enough you too can welcome people who only expect to pass by and download the odd file. :D
Obviously you have a fine sense of 'carry on' humour, another welcome addition. But one post every 13 months...

I disagree with the above posters. It is easy to ignore a thread. This is me ignoring the thread. See how easily I do it. You can tell I'm ignoring this thread because I'm telling you I'm ignoring it, and we all know I never lie. So I'll go on ignoring this thread and you can all go on ignoring me.
Ignorant bunch, aren't we? :D

If I ignore you, and you ignore me, does that mean it's like a negative times a negative and so we're really paying attention to each other? Or do two wrongs not make a right?

Welcome to SubSim Tensim :salute:
Now you can consider yourself 'ignored' :03:
:hmmm:
Pythagorean values for the letters in his name are 255194.
2+5+5+1+9+4 = 26
He joined January '11, so that's (1+11)+26 = 38
1 post and 8 downloads, (1+8)+38 = 47
His post was made on 02/21, (2x21)x47 = 1974
1974/2, because his name has two syllables, that's 987
Now, let's take 987 and this date from next month, 321 (if you miss SPACE)
987 - 321 = 666

That's not all! If you take the date of his post (02/21/2012) and change the

Nah. Still apples and oranges. The opposite of smart is stupid. The opposite of ignorant is uninformed. They don't cancel each other out. You can be smart and still ignorant, and you can be informed and still stupid.
Of course neither is optimal but the second situation is definitely the worst of the two. Ignorance can be remedied by becoming better informed, but as Ron White says - "you can't cure stupid." :O:

Yep. It's some kind of curse.
I have a different kind, in that I'm the non-employee that other customers still ask for help and directions. Even when I'm not wearing anything close to "store colors" and pushing my own cart full of items and obviously looking at the displays like any other customer.
Lol I once had a tourist stop me on a street corner in Chicago and ask me for directions to some place they were trying to find. It was the first time I'd ever been to Chicago and we'd taken the El and then a taxi and then walked several blocks with our host to get to that corner. I had no idea where *I* was, much less anything else. Apparently I must look like the kind of person who knows what I'm doing even when I don't. :O:

Yep. It's some kind of curse.
The guy answered me the second time.
His reply?
"I was getting to you...sorry."
That guy across the aisle had no intention of asking for help. I guess it's just an employees-have-to-help-everybody thing....along with the curse.

Apparently.
None of us know what you look like so we'll have to take your word for it.

All I can say is that, from my experience, being a Virgo is the equivalent of having been born with a sign on your back that says "Make me responsible for something" and it NEVER GOES AWAY. :O:

"I was getting to you...sorry."
I've had it happen more times than I can remember, but the only time I ever actually reacted badly was when I was in line at a Burger King. There were around eight people in line. I walked around them to the other register and saw the sign: "Register Closed". Well, that explained why there was only one long line. I went to the back of the line and waited. The line moved. Some more people came in and did the same. They saw the sign then went to the back of the line.
Finally about fifteen minutes later he finished waiting on the couple in front of me and it was my turn. At the same time a couple of kids about his own age walked around the line and up to the closed register. I figured they would do the same, but suddenly he turned away from me and to them, and said "I can help you over here." Something snapped. I very quietly asked "You can what?"
He blinked at me and said "What?"
I said "Since I came in here fifteen minutes ago people have been seeing the closed register and going to the back of the line. Now you suddenly want to let two friends of yours walk around everybody? I don't think so. I want to talk to your manager."
"Um, he's not here right now."
"When will he be here?"
"Um, I'm not sure."
"Okay, get him on the phone."
"But I have customers to wait on."
"Yeah. You have me to wait on, but you'd rather let your friends cut to the front of the line."
"Um, I can wait on you now."
"I have a better idea. You can wait on whoever you like. I'm going home and looking up your manager myself. Then I'm going to call the regional director. Then I just might call the president of the whole damned company." And I walked out. To my surprise, so did everyone else in the line. Also to my surprise I never actually raised my voice or shouted. I did call the manager, though. I don't know what happened after that. Never really cared either.
Third surprise, though it shouldn't have been: When I finally snap, I snap good.
