If Lincoln can be a vampire hunter than could Ike have been ambassador to the stars? It's in the Daily Fail. It must be true. :D I wonder if they helped him improve his golf swing? Can the internet get any richer in rubbish?
Former American President Dwight D. Eisenhower had three secret meetings with aliens, a former US government consultant has claimed. The 34th President of the United States met the extra terrestrials at a remote air base in New Mexico in 1954, according to lecturer and author Timothy Good. Eisenhower and other FBI officials are said to have organised the showdown with the space creatures by sending out 'telepathic messages'.

No, it's true! I read it on teh interwebs. Just now. But I believe it, and if you don't you're just an ostrich and willingly blind yourself to the possibilities.
I WANT TO BELIEVE!

I believes!!!!
Who do you think told him to build our interstate highway system?
Who do you think told him to warn us about out military Industrial Complex problem that we are dealing with now?
While aliens are absolute bull-stuff, old Ike was a bit of a forward thinker.
I would dare call him a sage or a medicine man. Great General, and a noble president, last good republican we had.

I guess this explains that vast, bald expanse of cranial dome. It enhanced his telepathic powers. :D

I remember someone who once said that in these conspiracies, there is a grain of truth. The problem is to find where this truth are in this story.
And I have found the truth in this story- Eisenhower was the president in USA.

Ike is a wuss.
Ask Omar about me, he will tell you.
Damn jeep accident, or you would be praising me, and not that (curse, curse) moron (curse) jackass political pretty boy.
I was the real American hero of Europe, not that Washington patsy.
You dishonor me.

Personally, I always thought Nixon was an alien...

Once Patton discovered the Nazi-Alien connection, he had to go. The Grays only agreed to meet with Ike after the Roswell crash... but that's another story.

Omar Bradley and Patton did not see eye to eye they in fact greatly disliked each other.
The real american hero was the American solider and Patton would agree with such an opinion he actually ordered that the man driving the other vehicle not be punished because he did not what to ruin the mans life.
Once Patton discovered the Nazi-Alien connection, he had to go. The Grays only agreed to meet with Ike after the Roswell crash... but that's another story.

Why do the Aliens always choose New Mexico for their secret meetings with which ever president or secret government department,(which by the way are not very secret if every conspiracy web site in the world tells you who they are!),?
you would think they'd be able to monitor all our forms of communication ,realise that New Mexico is a cliché and find somewhere more discrete!
New Mexico is lovely that time of year... :DL

Personally, I lay the blame at the feet of the Roswell, New Mexico Chamber of Commerce. (Aliens love those bacon melts!)

I always did find it funny that alien sightings always did originate in remote areas within an airplanes gasoline range of secret US test sites.
Convenient backstory to cover up for failed/sucessful research. (overspending on dicey projects)
Blame the Nazi scientists who sold themselves out to avoid Nuremberg. While essential, cowards all the same.
Aliens got nothing to do with this. Just an excuse to call blown military secrets the machinations of lunatics, and rednecks.

I seriously doubt any aliens have visited Earth in the past 500 years, and surely not in the past 60 for the simple fact we would see them coming.
Its possible to detect the maneuvering thrusters of the shuttle from beyond the orbit of Mars. A tiny ion drive like used by the SMART-1 probe that produced 1/1000 of a g of acceleration could be spotted at 1 AU. How far away could we spot a drive that puts out 1 or more g of acceleration necessary for interstellar travel (say by Bussard Ramjet)? Someone else can do the math (http://groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.sf.science/msg/54f4d01ceba2eb51?pli=1)but the range would be in light years.
