Patch won't install

Hello I need help I got the 1.2 patch but every time I try Installing it, it says

:damn::down:"The Setup no Version of Silent Hunter 5 installed."

"This update requires that a previous of the application be installed.":damn::down:

I need help I tried the manual way but same thing

Are you using a DVD copy or Steam version of game?

So when you are on the main screen what version shows in the upper right corner of your screen? I seem to recall when i installed my dvd version it updated automatically the 1st time i fired it up.

The current version is V1.15

Run the program gu.exe. (C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\Support\GameUpdater\gu.exe

This should automatically patch you to v1.2

I tried that and it said the same thing

Just install the game on the c drive .

Seems strange it's not updating automatically when you first run.
I take it that it is a genuine dvd, not a hookey copy?

All I can suggest is a complete uninstall/reinstall to your C: drive, but not into the Programs or Programs(x86) folders (C:\Games\SH5\ would be a good one).
