I have been playing SH5 for a few days now, and every time I load a game I get to see the flashing help icons in the top of the screeen. It's really starting to annoy me... is there a way to get rid of 'em?

You can set it up to get rid of icon and halo. :yeah:

It's best to use JSGME mod enabler for any mods.

Thanks for the reply, but I didn't mean the icons above the crewmembers.
What I mean are these icons:

I don't know how if you are using the stock UI, but if you are using TDW's newUI's mod then you can remove them with his options editor.

Yes, I'm using the stock UI. Although I installed some small mods (torpedo damage mod, torpedo speed fix, German flags mod) I want to keep the game as stock as possible for the time being.
Maybe it sounds a bit weird to some people, but I always want to play a game without mods first  It does make me appreciate mods much more, though ;)
