Do SH5 and 3 work on win7? I just ordered SH5, 3, and Enigma: Rising Tide.

SH5 works no problem on Win7 for me, haven't attempted to install the others on it but I would guess it will be ok.
TBH I install alot of games old and new and I have never had a problem on Win7 just so long as you remember the golden rule, don't install games in Program Files, make a games folder.
Wouldn't this question be better asked in the Silent Hunter parts of the forum?
