What is this GWX I keep seeing in downloads saying used GWX or have GWX. New to the site, but been playing this for years, my computer won't handle anything newer

GWX is one of the must have mods for SHIII

You can find it here : http://www.thegreywolves.com/

You have to have a clean SHIII install patched to version 1.4 http://silenthunteriii.com/uk/updates.php

GWX is "The Grey Wolves". It is an Enviromental mod to the basic SHIII game. The GWX Team made SHIII a whole new experience in game play and realism. You can read about it and the Legacy features included at: http://thegreywolves.com/

It has become a total game. Made by folks who know what a good simulation should have in it.
Add a few choice mods to it-it becomes the game you wish Ubi made and you paid for.:salute:

It should also run on a PC capable of running plain SH3, but more RAM is always welcome.

GWX is a great improvement over the original. If your computer runs SHIII, it will run GWX, though a lot has been added, it's been added intelligently and does not require extra memory.

Perfect thanks for the info, just downloaded the torrent of it as easier to have as 1 file. Re-installing SH3 to make sure it's clean for it, don't want to taint it after seeing the quality of the mod. Was the link somewhere in the downloads section and I missed it?
