Weird new account password message

I am sorry if this post is in the wrong section.

I recieved this:

As you requested, your password has now been reset. Your new details are as follows:

Username: Mhtsos
Password: *******

The problem is I never asked or taken any actions to change my account password.

Any ideas how this happened?:hmmm:

Somebody tried to use your member name for logging in to the board.
He/she failed and requested a new password.

Next, the system sends an automatically generated email to the address that
was registered by the user during the signing in procedure.

The email contains an unique link that, when used, will actually reset your
password.

If you did not requests a new password you can ignore that email.

Probably a typo made by a Subsim member and wondering why he/she can't get
in.
