So ... i returned to sh5 ... what should i do ?

i had once tried the dowload version of the game , now i got it for 1,49 € on ebay !
What you guys recomend i do to make this game more playable ?

Welcome back. I think you'll find it's an excellent game now, with the right mods. Start by making sure all the UBISOFT updates have been applied.

Then my suggestion is´to strat off with these 4 basic mods, in this order:

1. Install IRAI_0_0_30_ByTheDarkWraith which improves the AI behaviour of ships,
2. NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0_ByTheDarkWraith mod, which gives you a proper helm control and all the other missing controls, including TDC controls :-)
3. Dynamic Environments mod,
4. Open Horizon's mod.

I think these are the main mods. They are installed with JSGME program. Also, after you have installed NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0_ByTheDarkWraith, you will need to run a little patch he's provided that fixes the hydrophone problem.

That's a great deal for a good game that got bad raps from reviewers. I love the game, still discovering new things about everyday that makes me love it more. The add mods help out the stock game and make it what we all love.
