Well personally I'd laugh if there is little or no gold aboard.

The remains of a 300-year-old warship are to be raised from the sea bed, according to reports.
The wreck of HMS Victory, a predecessor of Nelson's famous flagship, was found near the Channel Islands in 2008.
The British warship, which went down in a storm in 1744 killing more than 1,000 sailors, could contain gold coins worth an estimated £500m.

I won't. Well, maybe a little. If they raise the metal parts, that's cool, but if they can bring up the whole ship (which I doubt) I'll cheer. :sunny:

As far as I can ascertain, anything of historical significance (cannons etc) will go on display in British museums and anything of monetary value (gold etc) will go to the salvage company.

I know which I'd rather have given the choice :DL

None if is going to me, so I'll take what I can get on the museum front. Of course my chances of ever getting there to see it are parked at the corner of Slim and None, but there are always pictures to look at. :yep:

:rotfl2:

Be careful, our U-boats might then mistake the silhouette with the other Queen Elisabeth, and sink it as an armed troop ship.

It's only fair if the artifacts go to a Greek museum.
