What's so special about Denver Airport?

Read about Denver airfield searched on youtube, to see if there was some construction videos. The only thing I found, was lot of conspiracy videos about this airport

I actually really like the airport, though it does have that air about it!

It had these murals for example, which are often rather eerie:

Then there's the gigantic blue horse that has eyes which glow red at night (http://denversecrets.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/denver-airport-blue-mustang.jpg), which also just happens to have literally killed its creator (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Mustang) (and not by crushing him, either, but by actually causing him to bleed to death). That horse doesn't just look sadistically murderous - it IS :o

Then when they had an Egypt exhibition in town (incidentally, I was in town at the time), they had a giant statue of Anubis (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZOwnzvDYQ40/TPF69K3FvwI/AAAAAAAABY8/ra8RBV-x0Ws/s1600/anubis+at+denver+airport+redacted.jpg) in front of the airport. It's like "Welcome to Denver airport! We hope you have a safe flight - here is the Egyptian god of death!" :doh:

I don't buy conspiracies, but the airport sure feels like it's really trying to be a little creepy sometimes :O:

I do not believe in conspiracy theories surrounding Denver airport. They have underground facility, This has all major airports. That it is bigger than some of the other airfields may have something to do with it will be used by the military / FEMA for a potential war or disasters

That's stupid and totally illogical. How can anyone even entertain such a uneducated and uninformed thought as this. Some people are unbelievably stupid.

Denver's altitude is pretty interesting as it makes it difficult for certain types to fly in and out of it.

Moving the airport made the descent from the west more like a lazy slide down the glideslope instead of the heart crushing plummet into the old airfield.

Always hated that one. :o
