There we make plans, because if you are German you have to make a plan first, the "Skybird-Schlieffen" plan. e.g. (August owns the copyright on this, he is half-German),
or just a plan like the "ultimate machine to overtake and conquer the world". Latest idea: "the Euro", that was Schroeder's idea.
Things like that. Newbies welcome!

I'm trying guess your location, but I must ask. Are you a native of Alsace-Lorraine? (don't answer if you do not feel comfortable) just the history buff in me asking and I know that location in France has names in both German and French. it has also been a bone of contention, and still is to some, due to the heavy German influence that exists there (and has since the days of the Holy Roman Empire)

Well, if we count from the Vienna Congress in 1815 to the first Schleswig-Holstein War in 1848 we had about 33 years of peace here- less than from 1945 till today. :know:
