Can't get to the bridge. . .

I just installed the game and when I'm supposed to go see the captain on the bridge, I go up the ladders and click on the hatch and nothing happens.

I just installed the game and when I'm supposed to go see the captain on the bridge, I go up the ladders and click on the hatch and nothing happens.
No need to click on the hatch, just keep on going up (pressing "w")
There's two ladders. One from the command room to the CONNING tower, and one from the CONNING tower to the bridge.

It was a glitch.

The top hatch was closed but when I restarted my computer and the game and tried again the hatch was open and I could go right through.

Another question now is, once I'm done with that mission and I go back to harbor and talk to the guy that tells me about my new mission, how do I accept it? Cause I clicked start new patrol and it asked me if I'm sure I want to continue without selecting a new one.

You find a cross shape on the map while youre talking to him. click it. then click request mission! :D
