You can have all the snow from my town. Please.
If you ask me, it should snow only two days in a year, 24th and 25th of December, then it'd melt away. Can't stand that stuff. :stare:

Oh I remember you leave in the north but we do not see snow that much the last 4 years.

Much rather have rain than snow...especially if I lived in a climate like that of Greece.

j/k
Rain brings the added commodity of water for reservoirs (I presume) and your climate is best known for its warmth.
Where i live, we've had about 10 minutes of snowing so far

I like snow, I'd rather drive on snow and ice than in rain. People treat the colder stuff with a bit more respect, they don't think much different between dry and rain so they are more dangerous.
This is, of course, just my opinion and I reserve the right to be wrong. :D
All the snow that was here in Wisconsin seems to have melted. Very Snow-less winter here.
Here is more a rain-less winter!

Why is it the majority of accidents I see during the first signifigant snow event of the year are 4WDs?
Yes, our vehicles do well on snow, sand, mud, etc., but ice doesn't give a rats patoot how many drive wheels you got! :-?

Not so much the ice but mostly stupid drivers. Most think because they have 4WD they can get away with a lot of things. Ice is a whole other beast compared to rain or mud or sand.

Yes many 4x4 drivers today are idiots. Many times I have heard the saying "I' ve got a big jeep I can go without ice-chains" and then you just have a lovely-funny sight of a jeep going sideways:haha:

Well, a 4x4 an off roader does not make. Many SUV today arent even good for roads :nope:
But as everywhere, it's the man, not the machine. I can drive my Clio in the snow like most people couldn't drive a Landrover :DL You learn alot after you get stuck in an alpine valley during a blizzard for about 20 times :DL

Of this bit I can readily agree it's the 'driver', not the machine :yep:

Same here Rilder, I live west of you in Minnesota, and we hardly have any snow right now. But that's about to change with the blizzard coming, when its done here, its coming your way.:DL

It's snowing right now where I'm at. Not a lot, but enough to stick just a little.
