Silent hunter 5 crashes

I have had silent hunter 5 now for sometime, and yet i have only played it about 15 mintues maybe less the reaon being i start the campaign and then bang it crashes and i can not be bothered to start it al over again is there a patch or something i can do to rectify this problem..its isnt my system as i am running way above what the game requires...

There are several possible reasons for CTDs (Crashing To Desktop). I can't think of all of them, but the two biggest are lack of memory in the graphics card or the computer itself, and mods interfering with each other.

If you give us your computer specs and what mods you are using we might have a better understanding and be able to help.
