Hi all!

I'm a noob for SH and playing career with XXI. Can I make a Deck Gun on it by changing some files? I found a poster in this forum but the link has already unvalid now.

Just want to make a deck gun on it for fun and enjoy more. Could you help me?

Unless you're playing an early war mod, being seen on the surface by almost any ship late war was practically a death sentence.

That said, there may be a few here who know how to do it, as weird as it would look.

I think I'm playing the oringinal mod without adding nothing after it installed.

Somebody did it for the XVIII in SH4.

Since you are then playing late war, I'd put the Over/under at your survival at 2.5 missions.

Im betting you won't live longer than 2 missions. The merchants have well trained gun crews, and they will call in ASW and air support pretty quickly. And that's if you can even find a line merchant.

There is a mod here though that does allow the xxi to be used in '39 though. Check the download section.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my game. I'm trying figure it out.
