British Major Alexis Casdagli made this cross stitch in 1941 while being held in a German POW camp and the Nazis put it on display. What they never realized is that the dots and dashes on the inner borders were a secret message.
The first is "God Save the King" and the second...well, I can't really tell you what the second is here. :arrgh!: You'll just have to use this morse code chart (http://www.linguanaut.com/images/morsecode.png)and translate it yourself (or read the story and it'll tell you, but that's a lot less fun)
