The video that shocked Goiás on the afternoon of Thursday (16/12), a woman beating a dog in front of the child of two years, is now being investigated by the Civil Police of Formosa (GO), about 10 days. The delegate Charles Firmin, which accounts for the case, says the video was delivered anonymously to the police station and since then police have been investigating the case.

To the delegate, what is striking is that the crime be committed in front of a child. "To watch the video, we hypothesize that the child could be the victim of physical and psychological violence," he says. The Child Protection Council was informed of the case and the child is in care of relatives. He said the fear was that the material leaked out before the data were collected.

Charles Firmin said the woman already knows she's being investigated. A lawyer for the accused would have informed the officer that she "had a crisis of stress and that the act was an isolated case." The neighbors have been ordered and are expected to testify next week. The commissioner also said that if the woman had left the city will be asked for their detention.

The material circulating on YouTube yesterday shows a Yorkshire woman beating a dog to death inside their home, in front of the only child of two years. It is unclear who took the images

I am NOT going to post the link the youtube video, mainly because youtube pulled it down (thankfuly).

Some people in this world really sicken me. Where has the human race gone wrong?

I am a non-violent person. But I think I could do some bad things to people who would to that to a dog.

Think of it this way.

There has always been such people, but in the whole of recorded human history only comparatively recently has such behavior been deemed unacceptable by society. To me that shows progress.

I really wish I hadn't seen that headline.

Forgive my rudeness, but I couldn't help but notice a couple of bizzare translation glitches like "Yorkshire woman", and the title of the image as "Woman who killed son in front of the dog", which were at least a little off-the-wall.

The video is more... bizzare than it is directly disturbing. I don't really understand what she was even trying to do there. It seemed like she didn't, either. I'm assuming she just flipped at the dog for some reason, hurt it, and then was trying to cover it up, couldn't even finish the job, then tried to cover it with the bucket so others wouldn't know that she hurt/killed it.

I hope that [word for female dog] gets what's coming to her with these investigations. She should have no right to be near animals or children for the rest of her life
