I have been playing it from spring. Have 2 tactical officers (2xCDR), 1 engineering officer (RADM) and science officer (LCDR). Its nice game but it has endless list of bugs. Usually when devs release patch to fix previous bugs there are some "exotic" side effects... :damn:
I recommend testing it when it becomes F2P and by then it (hopefully) have got most Season 5 release bugs fixed.
EDIT: Characters above are in Fed side I also have two Klingon tac officers.
I played it awhile back, was pretty fun, but after getting my Nebula (Via emblems) it was basically. "Why am I playing this? I've done almost everything" *Quit*

I played it - got bored with it because it was more a shoot em game than anything else - run around, kill borg. Wow - that was NOT what I had in mind. Cancelled my subscription asap.

Oh? its a war game and not really a exploration etc?Well shooting etc. sells better to non-trekkies. There is exploration part (and some diplomacy missions) but its not so prominent as combat. Most missions which are part of episode (=mission chain forming a story) include combat at least little. Some patrol missions are completely non combat but they are clearly in minority.
I'm ofcourse talking about official content created by Cryptic Studios and approved by CBS. There is also user generated content (UGC) which at my understanding includes mission with more "peaceful" options but I don't have much experience from that.
