You'd have to say that the Republican leaders are doing everything they can to make themselves look foolish. Not a great way to go into an election campaign.:nope:

I've voted democrat twice in my life.

once in favor if Hillary Clinton in the primary.

a second time against Rick Perry in the last gubernatorial election in Texas.

of all the crap i have pulled... those two (D) votes will probably be what lands me in hell

Brain freeze? His heads probably full of bible minutiae i'll wager; so I doubt there is enough room in his head for much else.

Maybe it overheated? Locked up, a bit like a PC does.

quote from article:
“Perry then went on to condemn "eight unelected and, frankly, unaccountable judges" in a discussion of prayer in schools.
Nine justices serve on the high court, not eight."

That is right!

If you ever get asked that question: “Of how many judges does the court consist, e.g. the district court in Lodz, Poland or the High Court of Singapore which of course you don't know, could be your oral law exam or could be you appearing in a tv show called “who wants to be a millionaire”, or may be you are applying for the job as President, whatever it is, you better do answer: “Honestly, I don’t know, but it has to be an uneven number, that is for sure. Could be 1 judge or 3 judges or 5 or 7, may be even 21, but it can never be a number that can be divided by two.”

He must be new to the club scene.

Oh, and BHO is a wordsmith..... Not a Perry apologist nor supporter.

"I've now been in 57 states? I think 1 left to go."

"No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It's like -- it was like Special Olympics, or something."

"The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system."

"What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith..."

"One such translator was an American of Haitian descent, representative of the extraordinary work that our men and women in uniform do all around the world -- Navy Corpse-Man Christian Brossard."

"UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems."

“My father served in World War II, and when he came home, he got the services that he needed.” (his father was 10 years old)

“Israel is an ally of ours. It is the most important ally we have in the region, and there is no doubt that we would act forcefully and appropriately on any attack against Iran, nuclear or otherwise.”

"It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There's a lot of -- I don't know what the term is in Austrian...wheeling and dealing."

"Long before America was even an idea, this land of plenty was home to many peoples. The British and French, the Dutch and Spanish, to Mexicans, to countless Indian tribes. We all shared the same land,"

"Eau Claire is a big important state"

"on this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes--and I see many of them in the audience here today."

Nah his brain just uses Internet Explorer to look up information.

I'm Rilder and I approve this post.

I think that Mr. Perry is not understanding that the entire concept of the Supreme Court is that the justices' decisions are NOT accountable to anyone. They are supposed to be free of political influence.

They can be removed for misconduct by congress so there is some ultimate accountability, but a justice can't be removed based on one of their decisions.

The Supreme Court, like any other human organization, is imperfect, but probably as good as it can get.

Honestly, Perry is so far back that I wouldn't worry about him making it past Iowa, let alone being in contention for the nomination. I'm Takeda Shingen and I endorse this message. I'm you.

Hi I am Rick Perry.

I am disgusted by things and people who are not like me, and want to appeal to the bumpkins who feel as I do. Gays are gross, and god hopes they die. I am a member of the Westborough Baptist Church.

I hate gays serving in the military, but support lobbying in congress, I am also trying to get a chair in a big corporation after I leave office, so will do very little to piss off, big oil, or big banking. It is wrong for government to interfere in things like banking and the environment, but we should interfere in your wifes uterus, and push our bible based beliefs on you.

My name is Dick Perry and I endorse this message.
