Manual Targeting forced?

Hi all..

I dediced to give SH5 another try..
Darkwraiths UI mod has actually made it playable (THANK YOU!) :D

I also installed Open Horizons 1.5
I 99% sure I did not have manual targeting set when I left port.

I have got into a perfect fireing 90 degree fireing position on a ship but I cannot hit the bugger..

When I lock the WO sais its an unidentified ship, but I have no visable options for ID'ing her or plotting her speed.

Put your scope crosshair on the ship.
Hit space bar on the keyboard.
Click on follow selected targed.
Click on the weapon officer(third officer from the left).
Click on torpedo attack.
