A lot better than I expected!! I love the Graphics although I did use the Dyn Env mod pretty quickly.
I also used the Interior Mod, but the game is running pretty well. I had a couple of scares right before I loaded up any mods, one was seeing a merchant ship (after blasting it with four torpedo's...for kicks) Float up in midair like it was a balloon or something. That's why I loaded the mods up right away and started again.
One thing I need answered if possible is, The flags. I have to have the Historically accurate flags! I loaded the Historically Accurate Flags mod (w'JSGME) and it didn't work (this was in port). So I unloaded it and tried placing the files manually and still it didn't work. How can I get my flags right.
I might have to post my mods list later to see if anything is being screwed up because everytime I load a mod it has a conflict because they're all adjusting the DATA file. Even still, I know that most are working but someone might see where I goofed.
Anyway, how 'bout the flags? How can I get the correct flags to work?
This game is going to be fun!! I can't wait to get home.
Good Hunting all...

Greetings friend, look before you put the mods in the JGSME, some mods consist of several parts, do not work if you put full. the flags of the subs is in two parts, only works with one hand only, I hope will be helpful. regards

Yes Thanks.
If we're talking about the "Accurate Historical Flags" mod, yes, I went into the file and there were two folders. One was the Flags and the other was for the "Bismark". I actually ended up taking the flags out of JGSME and following the instructions (not hard), I copied and pasted them in the proper folder in the program. When I loaded up the game (I'm still in Kiel) the flags had not changed.
A bit frustrating. Maybe I didn't go back far enough and should start the patrol again?!
When I get home I will snapshot my mods and post them here to see if anyone can see a goofup.
Thanks again!

To get rid of the jerkiness install antilag . Put the extracted contents into the main game folder . Dont use jsgme .
[config]
RenderAheadLimit=2
FPSlimit=32

Hey Sober!!
Thanks, I got the download and I'll try it tonight. So your saying to put the contents of "antilag" in the folder without using JSGME, correct?! Now the other config parameters you mentioned (Render Ahead Limit et al), I'm assuming I want to adjust them to =2 and =32. Are these in the 'Main' folder as well?

By the way, Flags are now historical. So the mods are working to some extent anyway.
Thanx :salute:

Got it!! Installed the antilag mod in the SH5 folder and...no more lagging or studdering. I am going to keep this handy as I know that Sailer Steve was having some studdering issues with the mouse.
Thanks again Sober!! :salute:
