Hi everyone,
So, I'm trying to install Operation Monsoon. I've got all the files I need including the patch.
I have version 1.5 of the game, finally!
These are my current mods I have installed:
PE4 Install Main
PE4 Special effects for Stock
PE4 Ship debris SH4 with bodies
PE4 real refelctions for harbour and objects
Gramaphone One
ROW sound effect v_9
LBO VS_3
stock v1.5 missions pack
610 Rockin Robbins Convoy from Hell
Webster's Ship Manuvering Fix
Natural Sinking Mechanics 2.6
So, I try to install it using JSME and I get a bunch of conflict errors.
ALL of them are conflicting with Natural Sinking Mechanics and Webster's Ship manuvering fix.
Does OM have the same effects as NSM and the ship manuvering fix incorporated in it? Will it break my game if I install OM anyway while KEEPING NSM and the ship manuvering fix?
Thanks...

I don't think it has the same effects, but it does have some of its own environmental changes, and thus does change some of the same files. OM is a supermod, and should be installed first. Play it a little, then install the environt mods on top of it if you're not satisfied with the basic OM environment. Also there is OMEGU, which is OM's own environment mod.
With JSGME you can experiment, and remove things you try and don't like.

Thanks!
I tried it out for a few hours. I like most of the features, but some of them I don't like...I guess I'll have to learn how to deal with them...
I've noticed the ships are way too 'agile' for my liking. Would the "Webster's Ship Manuvering Fix" be compatible with OM, or will it break the game? Because I know OM's release thread said that installing OM with Natural Sinking Mechanics would break the game...

Try this.
OM
OMEGU
KIUB
I might have missed one mod in the set up, as it has been a long time. It is a good game with excellent visuals. The graphics are really excellent.
I did not find enough warships, however.
Out of frustraton, I finally hunted the Bismark on the western exit to the Denmark Strait off the southern coast of Iceland, but was sunk by a British cruiser as I was steaming to intercept it. I researched via the Internet the Bismark's course as it tried to break out into the Atlantic, and knowing lurker was a stickler for authenticity, assumed he would insert it in the mod, and that the Bismark and its companion ship would sail through the strait a few days before it attacked and sunk the Hood. I planned to take the Bismark out of action before that happened, so I would be declared a war hero, made an admirial, and loved for saving the world. I was so wrapped up in the hunt that I forgot I was in a UBoat and that the Bismark was on my side! When I got readings that that two warships were coming through the strait, heading right towards my position, I began jumping up and down with excitement. I had to drink a pint of whiskey to calm my nerves, and the pizza my crew handed me for dinner did not set too well. So when I spotted a cruiser (the British cruiser), I relaxed. It was on my side. Then all hell broke loose. I could not figure out that who was attacking my boat. When I finally realized it that was the British cruiser, it was too late. All my torpedoes had been damaged and disabled. To make matters worse, the mission schedule in OM required me to put TC to 8192 (maximum) for 120 days (that took awile, let me tell you) to get the mission to the date where I had the opportunity and a chance of intercepting the Bismark. Because my boat eventually sunk, I never even saw it. That was my last day as a UBoat captain. I retired from the Kreigsmarine and began watching Hogan's Heroes. I am now living at the Happy Dale Sanitarium, yearning for the good ol' days when I made a run at the mighty Bismark.

Just install this:
OM
OM patch(es)
OMEGU
OMEGU patch
The readmes for OMEGU indicate that it includes a ship acceleration physics, so installing Webster's on top would potentially break things. OMEGU and OM also use NYGM ship sinking, so you'll already have a physics package for that as well. OMEGU will also give you KiUB.
Make sure you pull ALL of the folders out of the OMEGU .zip file, there are a bunch of subdirectories in it. Made that mistake just yesterday when I was re-installing OM/OMEGU...The actual OMEGU directory for the mod itself is a subdirectory or two down in the .zip file.
