Hi Uboat Sailors
Yesterday i started a new campaign and since i have this pc i cant increase TC when close to shallow water. I know ive made it possible in the past but i dont remember which mod i used for that.
I have SH3 with GWX 3.0 installed atm.
Hopefully someone can give me a hint
Settings can be made in SH3 Commander for TC,and welcome to SubSim, :salute:
You can also edit main.cfg or basic.cfg in the installation folders if you don't want to use SH3 Commander but I definitely recommend SH3 Commander it's excellent.
Something else that you may like which I'm just looking into now is hot-keying certain time compressions to keys.
This would save you repeatably hitting increase all the time when say a message resets it to 1x.

Good idea. I did this a while ago, (setting up a single key to move to max TC in one stroke). It certainly saves a lot of repetition, and for me at least, I find it very handy. :sunny:
Could you tell me how to set the hot key for max time compression as I could only find the code for hot-keying to "normal"
I really need to figure this one out because like you said it's very repetitive.
I'm sick of hitting that plus key.

This is from a post a couple of years ago by a member called Fr8monkey.
Set max TC with one single hit?
Goto (C:\programs)\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg\Com mands_en.cfg and open with Notepad/Editor.
Scroll to [Cmd5] and add
Key1=0x6A,R,"Npad *"
It shall look like this:
[Cmd5]
Name=Time_compr_increase
Ctxt=1,2,6,9
MnID=0x3F010001
Key0=0x6B,,"Npad +"
Key1=0x6A,R,"Npad *"
Save your changes!
This will make it so hitting the (*) key will bump you instantly to max TC.
Thank You buddy, I will try this out later.

Worked like a charm! Thanks again!
