Hello Fellow KaLeun's : )
Yes I know-same topic again-but maybe there's something I'm doing wrong. SH III is crashing to desktop during loading mission from the base. All my files aren't write protected, previous save-open sea, no land no ships no anything. Is there any other way to workaround the problem?

It would helpful if you would post your system specs and a list of any mods you are using, including whether or not you are playing the stock game or with one of the supermods. That would make it easier to narrow down the list of possible causes. :yep:

The point is-mod configuration is exactly the same as in beginning of previous patrol. Same boat, same crew-no changes at all-and then all of a sudden...

Ram memory, and you have a part-consuming graphics mods....I guess you did your install to a proper manner

Guess so-everything worked till now. One funny thing-I have SH III already re-installed-and as far as I remember I had exactly the same number of patrols and then the game started crashing. About 5 or 6...

Just one-SP2 Rez fix.Changed from original to 1680x1050.

Since you're using GWX I assume you've already confirmed that SH-5 Water for SH-3 Foam for LSH is compatible? Seems like if it weren't you'd have had problems before now if your mod list hasn't changed. I'm assuming that the blue interiors for FMNI also include all the necessary FM New Interiors files, since you don't have New Interiors loaded separately?

I'm not familiar with all your mods but nothing else there jumps out at me altho as Vendor indicated you do have some pretty demanding mods with only 2 gigs of RAM onboard. Why that would suddenly make a difference after previous patrols loaded fine... did you have a change of base or anything that required the game to load a more complex harbor scene? Would there be more going on in the harbor at the time/place that this patrol is starting? I don't know that it makes any difference, but on my old computer with less RAM I had issues with the game lagging and freezing after switching to a French base that was getting visits from the RAF, and there would be so much going on when I was leaving and returning there that it really put a strain on my system. Never a CTD on load, though, not for that reason. :hmmm:

You could try just reverting back to an earlier save, you would lose the one(s) that came after it but if it loaded okay then you'd know it was either a corrupt save (which sometimes happens even if you follow all known recommendations) or something that had changed from that patrol to the new one that crashed out on you.

Tnx for replies. Right now it's December 39-so, no-no suicidal RAF air raids over the bases-at least in SH III. Guess that harbor traffic is the same script all over again. No base changed-1st Flotilla Kiel. OK-I'll try earlier save, we'll see.
