View Full Version : Scum should get jail time
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/nov/23/kitten-killed-microwave?INTCMP=SRCH
A woman faces jail after been convicted of killing a kitten by microwaving it after falling out with the animal's owner.
Gina Robins, 31, put the pet into the microwave while at the home of its owner, Sarah Knutton.
Knutton heard a loud popping noise "like a crisp packet being popped", followed by a "screeching" noise. When she went into the kitchen and saw what had happened to the kitten she was sick in the sink.
I know what I'm about to say is something akin to what hysterical women tend to say when justifying their argument, 'As a mother...' like it adds weight to their purpose....
But as a cat owner (and a normal sort of guy) the above article and the quote sickens me.
Truly some people don't really deserve their so called humanity; lacking even the most rudimentary empathy for other beings, lessen us all.
I hope a custodial term is enforced of not less than 2 years, though I doubt it. Were it my choice to pass sentence however, Ms Robins would be facing a vittle warming date with an industrial microwave.

Sick. Abusing the weak and defenceless and living out one's own cruelty on them. Just sick. At the age of 31, you cannot claim to just not have known what you were doing. And her comment she send over cellphone, borders what I would not be surprised to hear from a psychopathic personality.
Hand in the microwave for 30 seconds. Sometimes pain is a greater teacher than a thousand words and ten thousand well-meant intentions.
No form of punishment on this earth would be enough in my opinion...it's times like this that I hope there is a hell and people like that find it. :nope:

If anyone did that around me?
I'd be on trial for popping them in the Microwave.
:stare:
If they did it in my Home?
The body would never be found so there would be no trial.

Natural selection clearing isn't working. If it was she'd be dead before that cat lost its life :nope:

As I have written before, I am never surprised at the depths that humanity can sink. I am often angered and disgusted, but never surprised. :nope:
What a terrible person this must have been to have done this.

Natural selection does work.
It's just that there are Laws that allowed this type person to survive.
:nope:
It's like makeing Laws to protect Bikers.
You don't like them so why try to protect them with Helmet Laws?
I'd think the reverse would do the 'Citizens' more good in thier Eyes.

What is wrong is that We, as a society, protect people like this.
'We'll She's sick and needs help.'
You THINK?
And why did She even get this far?
'We have to protect the +fill in the blank+'
:nope:
Nature has a Law that We try to over Rule and it is takeing huge chunks out of our Arses!
The weak, sick, and unfit are ment to die off.
We protect and breed more of them.
It's time to pay up I guess.

I believe it is an etymological coincidence that the words "human" and "humane" appear similar.

You know that doing things to animals is also a possible sign of a future Serial Killer also?

I would guess that the ability to cause extreme pain, suffering, and ultimately death to another living creature without any apparent compunction would be a factor in both pathologies.
I believe it is an etymological coincidence that the words "human" and "humane" appear similar.
And I suspect the extra "e" in the latter is for "empathy," of which some people have none.

If someone did that to a kitten or any other pet in my presence, I'd be facing life in prison right now.

Any old living critter would be bad enough - but a kitten? A KITTEN?!? Not just a helpless little baby critter, but one of the cutest little baby critters in all of creation?
I know not everyone is a cat person who sees a kitten and automatically goes "awwwwww" but COME ON.
Well heaven knows people do horrible enough things to human children, we've had enough horror stories in these parts to make you want to put a 2-by-4 upside somebody's head. :nope:

I only read the first couple of sentences of the original post, and that's enough for me as these sorts of stories really upset me. I'm not a fan of the death penalty, or an "eye for an eye" penalties, but in the case of animal cruelty, I will make an exception. With pleasure I'd make that exception.

Really found it hard sleeping after reading that description last night, like Takeda said, I also hope there is a separate circle of hell for people like this. Preferably a separate circle that also has microwaves. :nope:
As much as I am not a huge fan of felines, this is so wrong on many levels.
As with the serial killer aspect, they are "in-training sadists." Using a hands on approach to their experience. This broad is just plain friggin psycho.
Whether or not there is a place in hell for her, there is a place on the internet that - no matter what her fate in court ends up being - won't let her sleep at night for a while to come. It's called Anonymous and it is well-known for not being kind to cat abusers. Good luck to her trying to own a phone or computer now.

Now now, let's be civilized. No killing please.
Bash her face in, throw boiling oil into her face, deep fry her hand or cut her nose off and stick something into her exposed sinuses every day (yep, saw Conan yesterday), but don't kill.

Jail time.?
I have strong opinions on the death penalty, that could derail this. My state abolished the death penalty before it got to kill a man by the name of Jesse Timmendequas . Who, here in America is the criminal behind Megans law, and a registry for sex offenders. Now he lives on...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Megan_Kanka
Why have we as a society grown so "mock forgiving" that we try to fool ourselves that jailing a "defect" for life at a sustantial cost to taxpayers, instead of executing them.
Some people are just broken, and have no place in society. Personal or religious morals should never be a factor in an immoral crime.
Yes I compared animal killers to sex offenders, same level of cowardice.
