Getting started putting own data in

So I was wondering if anyone would have any tips for those starting to use data imputed by the user only, like what the numbers on the gadge mean and what not. I would like to start getting more realistic, currently at 60 %

alright thanks for that. Just set up a multiplayer game, set it up, and sunk a passenger liner for 45500 Tons.
