View Full Version : How to End First Mission?

I finally managed to get my first sub into the pen, you have to use the far left berth, well i made it in and i got the animation of the captain on the dock talking and then the other officer joins him...but then....he walks away and I am left there staring at the captain. Nothing more happens and my secondary objective, Dock at Kiel never is achieved. I walked around the dock for a while, which was interesting and nice but that other officer will only say welcome back and none of the other people on the dock have a hot spot..
so how do we finish that first mission..is there a hot key to push to end it?
thanks in advance for any help, i am eager to get on with my career as it is "promising" at this point.
I wont mention that i rammed the dock and sunk the boat the first time i tried to get into the berth :)

thank you very much, the animations of all the dock crew are quite remarkable and it is a lot of fun to see the pens in such detail....but i would like to be able to get back to sea..much appreciate the help, shipmates. :)
So to clarify after reading both links, we can't return to the bunker manually after missions? we have to use the anchor icon each time? I did enjoy getting back in eventually but the bother of the last few miles and navigating into that one left hand pen opening is a bit tough and tricky and i did not get a chance to stop engines before the screen changed from me on the conning tower to me listening to the former captain's talk and i did not get to hear most of it. thanks for the help again. I went and changed the cfg to true for finished tutotiral so i should be ok now.
I have one final question, will the sub in the pen from now on be my actual sub, as it changes in my career? that will be interesting to see if true.
