Technology giant Google normally has its eyes fixed firmly on the future. But it has turned its attention to an old house in England to help preserve a slice of computing history.

I'm glad Bletchley is now staying as for a time it was facing the axe but no more.

I went over to Bletchley last month for the first time, damn good day out. A bit costly but worth it.

Good, it's already shocking if you look on Google Maps the encroachment of 'new build' housing estate right up to the back door of the manor house, which along with most of the out-buildings is commercial premises now. :nope:

NO YOU DIDN'T! THAT'S A LIE! Why, I know for a fact...

Wait, whut?

You also invented the hedgehog (the weapon, not the critter). I know this because if we self-centered arrogant yankees had done so it would be known as the 'porcupine'. :D

And the Poles - they always get a bum deal out of this but they provided the Brits with a machine before the war, albeit not one of the later modified for a particular arm. And they provided manpower at BP.

That's not to mention all the other Poles who flew and fought. :yeah:
