It resembles what I can only describe as a "tartan cloak with every color in the spectrum". Outside runs awesome (exept for Epp - I'm not so sure about him) but as soon as you go below, it's like a kilt factory. When I put SH5 down months ago it ran perfect, and the only changes would have been Microsoft updates. This comes after a hard disk re-format and a dozen re-installations. (had a Code 1 error too) It has the same GPU driver it had when it ran fine. No matter how I tune my card, the acid trip continues. It's almost 5 in the morning here, and Gran Turismo is just the PS3 button away. I'm sure it's something on my end, but I just can't figure it out. Thanks in advance.:damn:
You should post a screenshot. Sounds similar to how JPEG's look when they have some data damage. And the game uses a lot of JPEG's to build up some of the objects. I would suspect hard drive errors in the place the game is ending up on your hard drive. I would get the hard drive vendor's utility to scan the drive for errors.

FINALLY got it and it was a graphical issue and it runs MINT now and I think I'm hooked again thank you for the input all. Incidentally where I'm from is only 5 minutes from Camp 30 where Silent Otto was a prisoner for 4 years... happy hunting
