Our local newspaper posted this on their website, along with the print addition. I attempted to correct the error concerning the sinking of the 742 ton Shiga Maru by the USS Pompon as one of the "... greatest naval losses during the war." Naturally they deleted corrections I posted to their poorly researched article-
