Business Secretary Vince Cable has apologised unreservedly after sensitive documents were found in bins outside his constituency office.
The unshredded papers included personal details including people's names, addresses and national insurance numbers.
Others included letters between ministers, Government briefing documents and a diary listing Dr Cable's meetings.

Anyone whose ever been to Downing St. will know of the lamp post mounted bin next to the metal gate entrance.

A common joke used to be....'That's the place to rid yourself of the Downing St. handouts as you leave'

I reckon you may well find them lying in the litter within said bin :DL
