How do you use your peanut butter?

Do you put a thick layer on the bread and eat it as it is, or do you put something on top of it?

With Peanut Butter expected to go up in price by around 40%?
I'll be eating less of it.
I usually have 2 slices of bread with about a 1/4 inch thick layer of PB after work, as a hold over until dinner is ready.
Looks like I'll just have 2 slices of bread with a slice of bread on each now.
:nope:

Freaking economy has me thinking about poaching the Wild Game around here already.
And now they mess with my PB fix?
:o

Honest Judge! I only killed the Turkey cause I can't afford Peanut Butter no more!

:woot:

Celery isn't so much a food as it is a peanut butter delivery system.

A butter knife makes the best delivery system.
Celery only makes you have to chew.

So you'll be spending what you save on PB on extra bread now? :DL

As if you Brits have anything that is a culinary improvement. I present to you Marmite:

This product, derived from the dregs of the beer distillery process, will never hold a candle te the the glories of peanut butter. Marmite is apparently the poor step-sibling of Vegemite... :DL

Love my Kraft Crunchy on toast with strawberry jam.

Works a treat in Satay sauce as well:

1/2 cup KRAFT* Super Crunchy Peanut Butter

1/2 cup coconut cream

1/2 cup water

2 teaspoons kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)

2 tablespoons chilli sauce
1 finely chopped red chilli

1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander

Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until slightly thickened. Pour it over whatever you want your your satay sauce on.

Chicken skewers is one of my favourites as is gada gado:
