Sim wont launch!!

Cant seem to start Silent hunter 5 sim,get messags "Launcher error code 1" any help would be
most welcome thanks.

From Ubisoft Customer Service:


The "error code 1" message is an indication of something that has happened to the Ubisoft Game Launcher, such as uninstalling it without reinstalling it, bad install of the Ubisoft Game Launcher, etc.

First, check to see if the Ubisoft Game Launcher has been installed. The install directory should be located in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher. If you've uninstalled the Ubisoft Game Launcher and you still see the Ubisoft Game Launcher folder in the aforementioned directory, then you'll need to delete the Ubisoft Game Launcher folder and then re-install it. You can find the Ubisoft Game Launcher installer on the disc under the Support folder. Make sure your antivirus program is temporarily disabled during the installation process of the game launcher.

Keep in mind, uninstalling the game does not uninstall the game launcher.
