View Full Version : Why I don't trust trust
http://images.wikia.com/x-files/images/d/d0/Fox_Mulder_restoring_X-File.jpg
I mean, really, what is this trust thing all about?
I'll tell you what it's all about, it's a conspiracy by the US government to make us all trust each other and them, and then when we're least expecting it...blam, the aliens will all round us up and deport us all to FEMA death camps. It's all out there on the internet, all you got to do is look...but...can you trust the internet? The internet itself is a left wing conspiracy invented by Al Gore to fool us all into thinking that that Global Warming is real...but I know for a fact that Global Warming is just a cover up for the collectivization of the medical service under Obamas communist government.
But can you trust me? Because I myself am a conspiracy organised by Sailor Steve and Jimbuna at the last Subsim meet in order to hijack limos for their international crime syndicate as sponsored by Facebook and the German government.
The truth is out there...just don't trust it. :yep:
Stop this disinformation at once, everyone knows we arent real, we are just the imagination of ourselves. :)

Lies, I see through this amateurishly transperant deception. You are but an agent of the federal hippie fascist communist government conspiracy attempting to make us trust trust, the internet and fast food restaurants by reverse psychology and poor strawmanism. This truth of yours is all a lie! All truth is a lie!
But you'll never take me alive! :stare:

Brilliant! Just brilliant! And brilliant replies too.
But I was also told to trust no one. Do I dare ignore them and trust you? Do I dare trust them? Can I trust my own judgement? Can I trust myself enough to distrust my judgement?
I think it's time to turn off the internets and watch Doctor Who. Or maybe Dexter.

I already own every original episode, and am currently watching the new version and its spinoffs on Amazon. Thanks for the kindness, though. :sunny:

Watch out everyone!
Your TV?
Is really a telescreen. Your computer moniter too. (1984!)
Obama watches every minute of every security feed from every house personally.
Careful... You thought red light cams were bad.

No man can see every house personally.
Well, except Santa Claus of course. He sees you when your sleeping. He knows when your awake.
He terrifies me. :o
So be good for goodness sake!

O! You better watch out!
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why

I remember a comedian reciting it as a horror story, with a sinister tone in his voice.
You better watch out.
You better not cry.
You better not pout.
I'm telling you why.
SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!!! :stare:
He made it really scary!
This topic brought to mind a "talking blues" number Bob Dylan wrote back in 1962. He was going to perform the number on "The Ed Sulivan Show" in 1963, but the CBS television network was fearful of repercussions from the John Birch Society up to and including a lawsuit for libel. (For those not familiar with the Birch Society or too young to remember its heyday, the JBS is a very, very right-wing group [as a friend of mine used to say 'slightly right of Atilla the Hun'] and takes its name from a US Army captain and Christian missionary killed in China in 1945 and considered by the JBS to be the first casualty of the Clod War). To Ed Sillivan's credit he fought to allow Dylan to perform the song, but was ulimately over-ruled by the CBS network. Here are the lyrics:
TALKIN" JOHN BIRCH PARANOID BLUES
Well, I was feelin’ sad and feelin’ blue
I didn’t know what in the world I wus gonna do
Them Communists they wus comin’ around
They wus in the air
They wus on the ground
They wouldn’t gimme no peace . . .
So I run down most hurriedly
And joined up with the John Birch Society
I got me a secret membership card
And started off a-walkin’ down the road
Yee-hoo, I’m a real John Bircher now!
Look out you Commies!
Now we all agree with Hitler’s views
Although he killed six million Jews
It don’t matter too much that he was a Fascist
At least you can’t say he was a Communist!
That’s to say like if you got a cold you take a shot of malaria
Well, I wus lookin’ everywhere for them gol-darned Reds
I got up in the mornin’ ’n’ looked under my bed
Looked in the sink, behind the door
Looked in the glove compartment of my car
Couldn’t find ’em . . .
I wus lookin’ high an’ low for them Reds everywhere
I wus lookin’ in the sink an’ underneath the chair
I looked way up my chimney hole
I even looked deep down inside my toilet bowl
They got away . . .
Well, I wus sittin’ home alone an’ started to sweat
Figured they wus in my T.V. set
Peeked behind the picture frame
Got a shock from my feet, hittin’ right up in the brain
Them Reds caused it!
I know they did . . . them hard-core ones
Well, I quit my job so I could work all alone
Then I changed my name to Sherlock Holmes
Followed some clues from my detective bag
And discovered they wus red stripes on the American flag!
That ol’ Betsy Ross . . .
Well, I investigated all the books in the library
Ninety percent of ’em gotta be burned away
I investigated all the people that I knowed
Ninety-eight percent of them gotta go
The other two percent are fellow Birchers . . . just like me
Now Eisenhower, he’s a Russian spy
Lincoln, Jefferson and that Roosevelt guy
To my knowledge there’s just one man
That’s really a true American: George Lincoln Rockwell
I know for a fact he hates Commies cus he picketed the movie Exodus
Well, I fin’ly started thinkin’ straight
When I run outa things to investigate
Couldn’t imagine doin’ anything else
So now I’m sittin’ home investigatin’ myself!
Hope I don’t find out anything . . . hmm, great God!
