How long have you been at your location off Honshu?

Some of the missions in stock require that you stay within 50nm. of the star for 24 or 48 hours, not sure which. You may also have to sink 10,000 tons of shipping. Do not go outside of the 50nm. radius or you have to start the time over again.

Once it grays out you can do what you want or call in for another mission. The more missions you complete the sooner you get upgraded boats if you started in 41.

It's 48 hours.

If you are bored and don't want to pursue the objective anymore, just stay there stopped and submerged during those 48 hours, and then you can go ahead doing whathever the hell you want. But that does not apply to missions where a given tonnage sunk is required - but in those mission parameters, you do not have to stay within the radius either.

Yeah, there's definately a stock bug there, I've had it happen on several types of missions too. Used to drive me mad.

I'd park my sub on the star at max zoom and sit there for days an still not get recognition!

Dunno there's much u can do about it (other than just go and sink a boat load of tonnes!), it just makes a thankless task seem a little less thankless.:damn:
