Republican presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann has denied reports that her New Hampshire campaign staff have quit."I don't know where that came from," she told Radio Iowa. US media reported a walkout by her five team members in the early voting state, which the Minnesota Congresswoman has been accused of ignoring.Analysts say Mrs Bachmann is focused on winning the presidential nomination contest in Iowa, where her conservative message may have more appeal.Mrs Bachmann told Radio Iowa: "We have called staff in New Hampshire to find out where that came from and the staff have said that isn't true, so I don't know if this is just a bad story that's being fed by a different candidate or campaign." Earlier, Bachmann campaign spokeswoman Alice Stewart said she had not been able to contact the New Hampshire staff to confirm they were still on the campaign. And former Republican state legislator Fran Wendelboe told Reuters news agency that Mrs Bachmann's perceived lack of focus on the state "underscores the impression that New Hampshire isn't a priority for her. She's totally written us off".Mrs Bachmann enjoyed an early lead in opinion polls after winning the influential Iowa straw poll in August. But she lost ground after Texas Governor Rick Perry entered the race and has since dropped to fourth place in many polls.

Her campaign been obviously dead in the water for a while now. The abandoning of the ship has finally begun.

She may ask for help from God...

Any such appeal is probably being drowned out by the "Thank God" from those millions who didn't care for her brand of quasi-religious politics.

Yep.

I wasn't a fan of her religious garbage either. People like that should be leading a medieval army to Jerusalem, not running for POTUS in the 21st century.

Too funny.

Well there should not be any uncertainty about this issue. Is it not possible for any member of the media to .. well.. just ask the five people whether they left or not?

I ain't no Perry White, but if I were one of them journalists, that would be one of the first things I would have done.

But there is, she says she is only replacing two of the New Hampshire staff.
So does that mean all five left and she is only getting two replacements or does it mean only two left and are both being replaced?

Is it not possible for any member of the media to .. well.. just ask the five people whether they left or not?

Depends on if you can contact them and if they will reply.

I'm waiting for her to tell everyone to "plant a seed of faith" in her political garden, speak in tongues and demand the office of president in Jesus name.

Thank God she'll never win, but scary that she can get elected to office to start with.

I wish someone would just ask, straight out, if Bachmann is or is not a dominionist.

But it is probably a pointed moot as there is no chance she will ever come close to the nomination. I wonder if she will be reelected to the house after all this?

I'm not a big fan of either Cain or Romney, but it is somewhat comforting to see the Bachmann and Perry bids unraveling so early in the race. It would be nice to have these two dinosaurs out of the picture so the GOP can actually organize a campaign around real issues.

...a pointed moot...

As opposed to an unpointed moot? :hmmm:

(And are they even in season?)...
