New to FOTRS, got questions

Started playing FOTRS 1.3. I am used to playing TMO2.1 and like to ability to move around the contorl room, especially to move forward and backward. But, don't know how to do that with FOTRS interiors. Can you? If not, how can you dive the boat below the depth guage indicator on the tool bar?

I think it is shift+F2 (someone correct me), but that only works inside. The outside first person conning tower view does not allow movement, as it did in stock or TMO.

Didn't for me, at least.

I found an answer on the FOTRS thread that works. Replace cameras.dat with the one from TMO2.
