Cant do the Tutorial

I finnally steped up to SH5. I ordered it in time for the weekend. I am following the advice on these forums. Thanks so much guys.
My first stumble is that I cant get into the tutorial. I sign into Ubi Play then I see the tutorial but when I am in the box nothing happens. It is the Polish ship mission. Uhmmm.

I am stuck. Help :(

Hi Maic0, if you're talking about the initial Silent Hunter 5 dialog that comes up and you're clicking on the Tutorial mission under the ACTIONS, I'm not sure what that's supposed to do. I've only recently started playing but it does nothing for me also.

Suggest you click the big Play button in the bottom right and load the tutorials from the main in-game menu :)

Thanks for your reply. I have now completed the tutorial. It is a good way to get familiar with the sim.
Here is the short end of it, You do not need Ubi to do this. As you said, all you have to do is start a new career in the game and get through the tutorial. Then you can start modding. I decided to go ahead with the campaign and try to see just how broke the game is. It is not that bad and I am having a good time with it.

Glad you're enjoying it! Trevally has some interactive tutorials (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=177725)available as well and stoianm has slightly long winded video tutorials (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=181538) for basically everything. They are both great ways to get additional training. :up:

The 'actions' in the launcher are the available purchases for the UPlay 'points' you receive for completing various actions throughout the game, e.g. completing the tutorial, or the first campaign etc. Assassin's Creed uses a similar system.

To play SH5, just click the 'PLAY' button. :salute:
