View Full Version : What a Tory 'Plonker'

Jimbuna
10-10-11, 03:11 PM
Serious mistakes were made by Defence Secretary Liam Fox in his working relationship with friend Adam Werritty, Downing Street has said.
Mr Fox apologised to MPs for the controversy, insisting that at no time was national security put at risk.
In a statement, he said he met the businessman 22 times - more than previously stated - at the Ministry of Defence and 18 times on foreign trips.

What was the alternative after Tony B Liar and Sad Sack, a Milibrother? :nope:

Let's face it, whoever came in would have had to do something quite drastic about the economy, whoever came in would face some sort of 'scandel' at some point, whoever came in would face the wrath of the public whatever they did.

Let's also face it that (usually) Labour born and bred will vote Labour, and Tory born and bred will vote Tory, and whoever is in government the others will bitch and moan. Neither can do the right thing for anyone, and there is no viable alternative without the country risking some even bigger knobhead in. Let's just take it in turns and play nicely. :D

Ditto with the U.S Democrats/Republicans, that the problem with our democracy, one constantly re-assigns blame the other, (while nothing gets resolved by either.)
Also the change of hands every 4-10 years can be very disruptive to the development of any nation, as projects, policies, state services etc are constanlty chopped and changed.

But then again, its still better than a 'put up and shut up'. dictatorship.
I guess you can't win :O:

Conservative Party known as the Torries, the party of the upper class toffs who want the upper class and middle class vote who believe in privatising everything.

Labour Party known as the working man's party and now back in the hands of the fat cat unions right Ed, stronghold is Northern Britain for the flat cap vote of the working man who eats black pudding.

Liberal Party known as the lost party who come up with wild and wacky ideas to get everyone to vote for them and in a hung parliament gladly stab there voters in the back.

In America, 'Liberal' is a dirty word. If you say im a 'liberal' in the US you can expect ridicule.
In the UK 'Conservative' is dirty word. If you say im a 'conservative' in the UK you can expect ridicule.

So Fox said to parliament this was all just chance encounters, nothing really crossed the boundaries of politics and private business and no national issues were involved......yet his friend booked into the international defence conference giving the Houses of Parliament as his address and assistant to the secratary of defence as his personal details, and the booking was made by a private company run by Fox.

seems to me Con/Lab/Lib are all of a muchness, Their all bound by the rules of the Eurocrats, cheaters and liars at best.

The idea of a Tory ruler may well be the answer in the end, there has not been a Tory in power since Churchill, the last self aclaimed Tory was powell. The house of Commons today is filled with a nouveau middle class conservative that have no understanding of honour, and to make matters worse they have also infested the Lords.

We are living in a new era, where leaders defer all responsibility to reason, England like most free Nations was not built by reasonable people, but by unreasonable people, and if that means a tough Tory then let it be.

Labour knocked on my door recently looking for votes, vote for liars and cheats, you kiddin me, a thief will steal all you have but a liar will watch you hang. But oh yes, now we have full blown con/lib disease and anyone can take, burn, steal and generally do what they want.

After reading the first page - I thought plonker was a homosexual - especially after the guy met his "special friend" so many times on "business trips".

Heck - even now I am not so sure I am wrong.

A plonker is generally accepted as being something that just hangs there doing nothin all day and can only now be used for stirring warm tea. :rotfl2:
