New comer here!Is SH5 still bugy now?

I installed SH5 several months ago and played for a while(haven't known about subsim then so no mod was installed).All I find was that the game is full of bugs!The most bad one is that this game is very very unstable.I get blue screen death everytime I get cannonballs firing at me from the DDs.What's more,when I am in the command room,I get very low FPS.So I want to know are there any mods or unofficial patches that will improve the game's performance and reduce the unstable factors?Please give me the recommandation and I'll be very grateful!Thx!:yeah:

Many many mods have been created for SH5, and some of them do fix the actual bugs in the game. I have to ask, though, what are your computer specs? Low FPS in the control room and CTDs under only one condition sounds like it might be related to your graphics card or your amount of RAM, and not to the game itself. If you could tell us what you have we could start to help you figure it out.

My computer is a WinXP SP3 laptop with :intel core dual T6600 2.2GHZ,nvidia GT240M 512MB graphic card and a ram of 4G.I know it is not a high hardware level but I get good FPS performance outside the boat.I think it's weird because when the vision is outside the boat there should be more graphic factors to deal with but the FPS is OK.What's more,when I'm inside the boat walking around,I always get stuck.Just wondering that if there are mods or patchs will solve the getting stuck in boat issue and blue screen to death.If there is a patch will increase the in boat FPS,that would be great!:sunny:

I don't have SH5, but according to what I could find the "suggested" Intel CPU is a 3-Gig E6850. I know the minimum is lower, but it may be that your computer just isn't up to it. Other than that, I don't really know.

Thank you for your post:cool:Just now I installed the SH5 again and the FPS is fine.Still the graphic is not so smooth but it's OK.Can someone give me some mod recommandation ?Thanks!
