We'd miss her if we knew she was ever really there...

That's bitter, a little less to laugh in this world...
If the Republicans want to win this, they need to put the fringe 'out-there' candidates back to bed. This will help them. :yep:

Pretty much.
Good, now maybe she'll actually have time to finish the 3rd grade. :O:

I think there were a lotta people who changed their vote based on Johnny's decision on running mate. :yep:
When was the last time we had a chance to vote FOR a candidate instead of voting AGAINST a candidate?

I don't know how serious she ever was, but watching Bachmann flame out has probably given her a good indication of what her chances were.

No, she'll probably just resign from the class halfway through the term.
Pretty much.
Amazing ain't it? It was as if Obama were running against Palin instead of John McCain.

First smart decision she's made. Seems Perry is Palin with a pecker.

I remember the day that Collin Powell reminded everyone that if McCain won and then died in office, Sarah would become the C in C. I think that prospect scared a lot of voters.

I think the Secret Service would have had the order to shoot her in this case, to protect the US from imminent danger.

Looks like a positive for the Republicans then.

I take it that not a lot of people like Sara Palin, but she might do some good for the USA, just look what Thatcher did for Britian:salute:

I am no fan of hers but the specter of "President Palin" would not scare me nearly as much as the specter of "President Biden". :yep:

If it wasn't for her, I would have voted McCain. As it was, i simply abstained.

She may not be considered bright but is bright enough to understand running for POTUS would be a distraction and pull votes in the wrong direction. Furthermore, she is right, she can be more effective doing what she is doing now getting away with just about anything with no recourse at all. After all, she is not running for anything. She is just running. Much like Forrest Gump. :DL
Who paid her off? :shifty:
Who paid her off? :shifty: You, :O:

:o Not a fan of Thatcher myself, but comparing Palin to Thatcher - that is a daunting task. You could as well try to compare a canary bird to Winston Churchill.
You, :O:
NO WAY!
I rather spend my money on a can of Heinz Bake Beans. ;):D

Glad that nobody noticed that I recycled an old Dan Quayle joke. :O:
Oh, I have witnessed Palin's campaign when she ran for Governor in 2006: Scary stuff, man, scary, scary stuff! :o
GOOD!
The Republicans, America and the world are all much better off without that embaressment of a presidential candidate. She didnt have a bloody clue. Awful awful woman.

Can have some of what you've been smoking please :o
What did that Thatcher do again? (other than destroy the working class in every way possible)

Well for one thing she showed that GB was not the paper tiger the world had come to believe it was and that it would not abandon it's citizens to an invading foreign power.

What did that Thatcher do again?
Created a bubble that crashed, asset stripped the country while increasing the debts, increased corruption and played happy families with crazy murdering dicgtators, privatised "money sucking" sectors to save money yet somehow increased the amount of government money they sucked up, impoverished whole regions of the country to such an extent they were eligible for a sort of third world development funding from other bodies, introduced "improved" working conditions which means huge sections of the workforce were in effect on welfare.
Finally her political ideology and lunacy got so bad that there were mass protests on the streets, the party was ripping itself apart and her loyal followers had to throw her under the bus to try and salvage something from the mess.

No under the nationality act of 81 they were not British citizens, after the war they introduced the act that gave citizenship to Falklanders.
