Any one of those nut jobs in the White House and Obama is right at the top of the list, and most of those that are down on wallstreet right now. So you think if they introduced communism here in the states there wouldn't be blood shed what makes us so different that we are immune to history, that's why we study it. Let me preempt a couple of things here-I did not choose the Nazis because, well folks (myself included) ALWAYS bring up the Nazis. Plus Franco was clrearly a traditionalist conservative Catholic and certain people always bring up the fact the Nazis were "National Socialists" to show they were in some bizzare way related to mildly left wing parties like the NDP (Canada) or Labour or centrist parties like the Democrats.

Also I am WELL aware the communists and anarchists etc. in the Spanish Civil War did their own share of slaughter-you can read Orwell's "A Homage to Catalonia" for a good eyewitness account.
