A paedophile died after being disembowelled in an attack in his prison cell when he boasted about his sick crimes, it was claimed last night.

Boasting you're a child rapist....very smart.

I'm disappointed it doesn't happen more often, eases overcrowding, and a state-paid funeral is a darn sight cheaper than keeping them locked up.

How is it that staff there can be so lax as to not understand the risks that it is their job and duty of care to prevent? Given that such attacks are not unheard of.
Never mind what you think of mister kiddie rapist, this is yet another indication of how badly our prisons are run; add to that suicides in many young offenders institutes and the commonplace violence in the prison system that is not sensationally reported in the press, overall it's a big failure.

Well previously it backfired on certain sections of the press when their prison "hero" who did Huntley "for the children" turned out to be a really nice crazy junkie who cared for children so much he would take a knife to the throat of a two year old.

Lets face it a category A prisoner who is doing a minimum stretch of 30 years is clearly a very sick and twisted bastard and isn't someone who... needs to be commended.
