Hello ,
I have been following the OHII thread recently and would like to try it out but what has put me off about SH5 in the past was the part. Where you walk about to the different stations especially coming down from outside first to dive as I think the Captain should be the last on top, is there any mod where you can press the the button to go to that station, the other problem for me was a lack of a follow cam, I tried one version with new keys but seemed constantly to be locked out of sub underwater.

Personally speaking I like it the way it is, there is a tension that comes about when the destroyers start shelling you when your made. The idea of scrabbling down the hatch under fire is brilliant, for me that is :yeah:

I agree with you, it really adds to the realism of the sim :) :yeah:

It may seem more real to you, but the fact is that the leading officer is indeed the last person down the hatch. More realistic would be a quick graphic showing the crew scrambling down the ladder and you following. Not allowing a dive because there are still "crew on deck" is not realistic at all. :sunny:

True, but its better than a teleport star trek style to the inside of the sub, at least the sub can not dive untill you are down the ladder....:yeah:
